Stevan Paul cooks on the World Vegetarian Day in Cologne from "Germany vegetarian" - a wonderful menu and a beautiful evening in pictures

The day before yesterday, October 1 was World Vegetarian Day. And what could have been more appropriate than to get vegetarian food from Stevan Paul from his new book, Germany? Nothing! And that's exactly why I was there ... Stevan Paul and the Christian Brandstätter Verlag had invited me to this happening - instead of a classic reading trip as in Stevan's previous books, the chef personally took to the wooden spoon and served his guests a wonderful vegetarian menu. div>

Invited to Marien Corner in Cologne-Ehrenfeld. Good for me, because I live just 10 minutes walk away. And unlike the name might suggest, this is not a rustic corner bar, but a super modern and really scary beautiful event location and cooking school.

In addition to Stevan, there were also Torsten Goffin for the Wine and beer accompaniment and Marco Kramer from Marien-Eck, who stood together in the kitchen all day to cook 40 guests full and satisfied.
And I think that worked quite well.

The other wines, which are all from smaller wineries, were really good. Although I'm not a red wine drinker, I was very fond of the Pinot Noir from the Shelter Winery.
The mood this evening was great too - when like-minded people meet, it's always pretty nice. And so were with Ariane of Culinary snapshots, Sophia of Cuccina Piccina, Bernd of Chezuli, Christian von Küchenjunge and Joerg von Utecht also writes a few more food bloggers at this event represented.
The book itself is so wonderful that I to devote his own contribution with a detailed review. There is hardly a page that is not marked with a post-it for "I really need to cook". Thank you very much to Stevan and Friederike for the invitation, the beautiful evening and the great book!
